  6. I hope that you are doing well and theta there has been some progress in your house. I think of you often and am saddened to read past post that the insurance is slow to get anything fixed and that unscrupulous people say they will help and do a runner.

    Any luck on selling your farm?

    1. Elizabeth, my furniture is still in pieces and parts but have sent an e-mail to the person who said they would take the job. Unfortunately, if I told all that's happened both since Dave died and since the Jan 8 house troubles, people would either think I'm crazy or would run away from me as fast as possible. It seems there's no end to people trying to steal, rob, cheat, lie, etc. Woe on them!
      Someone is coming tomorrow to discuss buying the farm...say a prayer, please!

  10. You saved the best for last, didn't you? "...how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.." I'd say that's love to infinity and beyond. I wrote this verse down to prop up somewhere because my senior memory lets me forget ones like this and I need to dwell on it because my heart leapt with joy when I read it here.

    Sandra, I've just read your post about moving your bedroom furniture back in and rejoice with you that you have that haven again after hard won road back to it. But now I also read about the gate falling on you? Is there no end?

    And someone is interested in buying the farm, or at least discussing it?

    Our whole family has been praying for a year now for my sister and brother-in-law's nursery to sell to a developer. She is still working at nearly 70 and he is retired due to health. They need so badly for it to sell. We all know that God's timing is perfect but there are sometimes we wonder when it will happen, and why not now. Through your extremely personal experience, do you have a particular verse that might help? Thank you, dear Sandra.

    1. Praying for your sister and BIL; every time I hear of someone needing something (like your sister/BIL or like me needing to sell/move) I'm reminded of Daniel. God heard Daniel's prayer when the words left his lips but satan stood in the way and it took 21 days for the answer to arrive. How long, O Lord, how long?
      Gosh, Dewena, there are always people interested in buying the farm...or parts of it...sigh. Two neighbors, different times, said to me, "I'd like to buy the land but not the house." Of course, I said "not a chance" and one of them has ramped things up a bit. Not in a good way either but when someone actually brings me $$$, I'll sell the farm.
      Exodus 14:14...I will fight your battles for you, says the Lord, you only need stand still."
