Now I'm sure there's a much more -smile- scientific way of saying it but it still tastes delicious!

Hi Mary - THANKS! I knew it looked familiar as I just bought a columbine from the nursery and it's quite similar. Thank you for giving me the name. I'll still transplant it and hope it grows in the shade of the house.Thistle Cove Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15722295191884810953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-3227148963824953332009-05-12T20:39:00.000-04:002009-05-12T20:39:00.000-04:00The flower is a wild columbine flower, usually ora...The flower is a wild columbine flower, usually orange and yellow in color, and found along side of road easily this time of year.
Mary MLost Art Guildhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01132138214833863893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-69179460704946395192009-05-12T17:31:00.000-04:002009-05-12T17:31:00.000-04:00Make that Tennessee...sheeshMake that Tennessee...sheeshFireLighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06807248509319526615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-60203472277036848652009-05-12T17:30:00.000-04:002009-05-12T17:30:00.000-04:00Hello! She said we needed it to make the blackberries sweet! She would pick wild blackberries in the morning, put on one of her aprons, and turn out great blackberry cobbler. You know how that goes, no one else's ever tastes as good! I too love the horses! I have no clue about the flowers. Let us know if you find out!FireLighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06807248509319526615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-87440010195969115282009-05-12T15:43:00.000-04:002009-05-12T15:43:00.000-04:00I especially like your last picture, the horses u...I especially like your last picture, the horses under the walnut tree. We do get to know our homes and places by the seasons, don't we?

It is cold and rainy here, but the grasses, trees, and flowers are lush . Guess around here and there the old saying should be " May showers bring June flowers" !KathyB.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13076933273610590290noreply@blogger.com
