Since I've moved to our small town from my family farm I have sorely missed having animals around.

In regards to Proverbs 22:1 and a good name. We have more than one generation that simply does not understand the value of a good name and reputation. Unfortunately I see this all the time and it sorrows me.Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16437631609980218749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-59213341576980396562009-02-25T09:05:00.000-05:002009-02-25T09:05:00.000-05:00Welcome pumpkin seed and thanks for visiting TCF a...Welcome pumpkin seed and thanks for visiting TCF and telling me the meaning of Abigail...source of joy. It is sad, so many people think nothing of their name...perhaps because it wasn't worth much when they received it. In bygone days, every name meant something and was known to others. For example, Sandra means helper and Kay is Celtic for happy. I like to think I'm well named -smile-.

Welcome Leslie - Everytime I see the sign, it seems the name has changed so perhaps it is effective.Thistle Cove Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15722295191884810953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-64646505686383892062009-02-21T11:09:00.000-05:002009-02-21T11:09:00.000-05:00I saw that sign in Abingdon when we were there. A good name seems highly undervalued now a days. So sad.

Someone in Yelm has a HUGE sign on their road front property that says " Mary....pay your bills! You owe me $...." I would hate to see my name on a bill board size sign telling the world I am a deadbeat.

Your horses are beautiful, and again I say, you are rich, rich, rich!

Thank-you for the pleasant reading and more interesting history.KathyB.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13076933273610590290noreply@blogger.com
