I'm quite sure Buster is in heaven and will be there to greet me when I arrive, along with all the others who have gone before!

Hi Joni - thanks for visiting; yes, I love my life, hard work and all. God has truly blessed us so we're able to live at Thistle Cove Farm.

Hi Shannon - many thanks for visiting; please know you're welcome to come sleep in the 'big house' any ole time -LOL-. Last night, I found out we've a mother mountain lion, probably what you're calling a cougar, ranging in our valley. She's supposed to be around 120 to 130 pounds, fairly large to my way of thinking.

I'm a fair computer ejit so it could have been there and I didn't see it...I wanted to "follow" your blog but couldn't find the info. It's all so lovely.

We raised sheep years ago, but a cougar got our last three. I didn't have the heart to start again. Back then I wasn't a knitter ... now I am! So my yearning for sheep has returned.

For now I'll have to content myself with reading your blog. Thanks, btw, for the visit to mine today. Nice meeting you. :)shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06979169490651455277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-53588684255455680792009-02-10T16:59:00.000-05:002009-02-10T16:59:00.000-05:00Your little corner of the earth is stunning. He's moved closer to the mountain but I can still hear him talking during the night. If I ever find any owl pellets, I'll let you know but, generally, he didn't defacate in the barn. Or, if he did, I've never found it and no, you couldn't purchase it, it would be a gift. Gosh, I'd eat a lot of dinners out on *THAT* story! -LOL- BTW, I'm sorry to say, Buster Brown passed away but he lived a good long life and was healthy until a couple of weeks ago. Thomas and Zacheous are still in the barn and small lot but Thomas gets frailer, almost, by the moment. I joined Art-e-ology as a follower and am looking forward to many visits.

Hi Pam, thank you so much for your visit. Please know how much your art inspires me! I'm a bit new to the fiber/textile art world and it's exciting to me to see how people are merging their Christian walk with their artwalk. I've sent your sites around the country and am now a follower of FaithFolk and PMArt...thanks! Re your Ashford, if it is an Ashford from NZ...check out ravelry.com; a group of fiber folks and they have several groups where one may sell their goods and wares.

Tatting Chic - hi and thanks for visiting. Tatting is such lovely work and yours is especially beautiful. Are you self taught? Can one be self taught...is it easy enough to learn alone?

Hi Tipper, thanks for visiting and I always enjoy my visit to your blog.Thistle Cove Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15722295191884810953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-23733388231256317752009-02-07T14:26:00.000-05:002009-02-07T14:26:00.000-05:00I loved the tour around the neighborhood and the s...I loved the tour around the neighborhood and the snowy pics!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-5783403689164253142009-02-07T13:53:00.000-05:002009-02-07T13:53:00.000-05:00Wow! What a treasure you have. Do you ever get owls in the barn? I collect owl pellets for science experiments with the kids. I would purchase them from you if you do. I hope it's ok that I asked. I am not a complete loon I promise:) Love, JamieJamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13303243140077924265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-36857572916329212132009-02-07T12:11:00.000-05:002009-02-07T12:11:00.000-05:00You farm is incredibly lovely Sandra. I am glad he has had you to care for him. Tell Abigail if she knows whats good for her she will suffer the sweater. LOL!! If you attached a CB or GPS to the Polaris you could have the ULTIMATE MAN MAGNET. You'd have to beat them off with sticks! LOL!! Thanks for making my morning! Our youngest son and his daughter have 2 Jack Russells named Shotgun and Ruger and they would be so insulted if I called them by sheep names...the sheep wouldn't care as long as they had something to eat!KathyB.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13076933273610590290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13163430.post-82258093287975089182009-02-05T10:05:00.000-05:002009-02-05T10:05:00.000-05:00Good Morning KathyB...thanks for visiting but Trou...Good Morning KathyB...

thanks for visiting but Trouble says, "Please! do not mistake her for a dawg!" I say again, you're RICH! The beams in your barn are beautiful and I am jealous of your Polaris Ranger......man magnet or not.

I like the way Abigail stores hay in her chin and neck wool for contemplative munching.
