Dear Sandra, you found a lot of heavenly proverbs. I think, you have an intense contact to heaven and to those, who already are less or more or complete heavenly. I love especially the words of Charles Spurgeon, but all the others, too. Blessings to you, brave sister in Christ, from the Bavarian Forest
ReplyDeleteDori, my Daddy always says, "I'm ready to go but I'm not homesick." Even as trying (and it is Very Trying at times!) this life is, I'm still not wanting to leave it behind. Spurgeon encourages us all to be better Christians, doesn't he?
DeleteYour Dad was I think wonderful, Sandra!
DeleteYes, Spurgeon is encouraging me, too!!
Yes, Daddy is wonderful...he and Mom are two of my heros.
DeleteGood Evening, Sandra. Thank you for the post tonight. I am praying for each of you on the prayer list. God bless you. Love, Mildred
ReplyDeleteMildred, the fields are white with harvest; thank you for praying.
DeleteIs the star in the photo Jupiter? Here Jupiter shines in the evening very light and strong!
ReplyDeleteDori, I'm sorry but I don't know. It's the western sky at early evening...just after sunet, if that's of any help.
DeleteSo it is VENUS - she's always in connection with the sun - evening or morning. Here we have the Jupiter, he is all the night, comes early eveńing and shines very light, too, like the Venus.
DeleteOh good...you knew. I wanted to say Venus but really didn't know. Thanks for saying!
DeleteYou and I share so many life-changing experiences
ReplyDeleteSandra dear, and I thank you for the great comfort I derive from your Sabbath Keeping. I can
well understand why Dave is still on your lips and at your fingertips as you type. So great a love cannot be extinguished or truly dimmed. I
am praying your world will be restored to order and peace, with much beauty added along the way...In the meantime, the "crew" sounds like a blessing with whom you can share Church, and I believe so much good will emerge from the mishaps and disorder as a result. Sharing in your prayers for others.
Dear Heritage Hall...are you local to me? If so, let's go have lunch. I'm ready for a few "normals" in my life...so weary of the battles.
DeleteBeautiful words and a beautiful photo, Sandra.
ReplyDeleteAmalia
xo
Thank you, Amalia...I really like the photo and encouragement quotes.
DeleteBrowning's words illustrate so concretely what we heard in a homily lately: how God meant creation to bring us into communion with Him, but we have become mere consumers.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandra.
Sad but true, Gretchen; a pithy observation.
DeleteHi Sandra, I agree, God is busy. We should thank him
ReplyDeletefor the blessings we have. Stay warm, I just found out no hot water, that's my heat?? 10 degrees, and company coming.. yvonne
God is busy but never too busy to hear from His children. He hears a lot from me (lol)...praise, thanks, appeal, talking about weather, chores...I "cast all my cares on Him for He cares for me." Hopefully, you've got the lack of hot water problem fixed. Have you thought more about moving to southern climes?
DeleteBlessings to you!!!
