"And it came to pass, as He went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samraria and Galilee. And as He entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, "Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?" There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And He said unto him, "Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole."
~ Luke 17:11-19 ~
Prayer requests ~ Sharon ~ Rebekah ~ Timmy and family ~
If you've ever tucked me in prayer, thank you. If you've ever read my blog, thank you. Please know, if you've ever left a comment, public or private, you've been held in prayer. I am so very grateful to you; thank you. In this season of Holy Days, please concentrate on the precious gifts...family, friends, life, food, water, shelter, a Bible to read, the fact you're reading this on a computer... . Perhaps we've all felt as did Agatha Christie, "I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing." To which I add...Amen and amen!
Truly, I am both grateful to you and thankful for you. Happy Thanksgiving!
P. S. Computer woes...ahhhh! I count it all joy I can make a lovely pan of shortbread. lol
