All words of wisdom & humility, words to remind us of that character quality we cannot attain unless we stop trying to ATTAIN anything but true worship of God and acknowledgement of who & what we really are.

Hi Sandra, Thank you for the lovely quotes. Keeping you in my heart and prayers. Sending my love across the miles.
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes. I really like the C.S.Lewis quote. The Helen Keller quote makes me think of one I'd heard by Mother Theresa. Maybe it was the same quote, just attributed incorrectly where I heard it. Whatever- they are all worth knowing.
ReplyDeleteDear Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI think of you so often. Especially in these dark and lonely days you are enduring. It moves me that you would take the time to visit my blog and leave a comment. When I boldly step out in faith, it is interesting to see who will step in with me. Thank you for doing so.
I am praying for you as you mourn the loss of your dear companion and husband. We have a garden of babies on that golden shore waiting to greet us. What a glorious day that will be. Thank you for Sabbath Keeping and keeping on. You are precious to many ~ including me.
Sandra -- I am honored that you visit me on my little blog and share your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how difficult it must be for you right now, but I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate being connected with you.
Wishing you a year of peace, my dear. Some day, I trust it will be easier for you. :)
Hello, Sandra - Just found your blog, and I've been reading for the past hour or so. I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dave. My heart goes out to you as you grieve. I do not know how you feel, I'll admit it, but I do know sadness that comes from losing someone you love. I am praying for peace and comfort and guidance for you in the coming weeks and months. Please rest in Him who knows your heart.
