  5. I was reading the Ten Commandments last night with the boys separately. It was interesting to see their ears pricking up in different places, and this was Mattman's. So we had a truly super conversation about coveting. He came up with some very practical solutions!

  8. Thank you for stopping by my blog recently. I am sorry you feel that the only time you hear from people is when they need something. That sucks for lack of a better word. I agree that there are times when we can't serve (like when we are grieving)or when we are helped out b/c of our life circumstance...so it made me sad that you misunderstood my blog to 50 and older women as being a guilt-trip post or one that said you should be serving. You truly missed my point.
It was meant to encourage you b/c I know personally, some women that age who feel a bit useless right now...yet, those woman have been used by God to help me since I lost my mommy and I wasn't raised in a safe, loving home. -Hugs

Yes, Envy is no friend to anyone. Maybe Envy should just be pitied.

    God Bless!

  10. Each quote is a good reminder, especially when we see beautiful houses and what we think are beautiful lives in Blogland.

  11. I love the sentences and I love also the photo with Sadie and Charly!

Here another thought according to "Envy":

Theresia from Avila wrote in her diary, there is one kind of envy, which is not bad. It's the "holy envy". She felt this feeling when she was a young sister in her monastery, when she saw the splendid behaviour and love between the elder sisters. Sometimes she hugged their clothes and was full of desire to be as friendly as they were, when she had to iron their clothes.

Now I always remember since I read this from her diary, that "holy envy" is a good feeling to come forward.

  12. Thank you for praying for me. I did really well with the minor skin surgery I had a week ago. I am doing well, and I know the prayers of many and angels watched over me.
    Have a blessed weekend!
