~ brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! ~
No sun-no moon-no morn-no noon,
No dawn-no dusk-no proper time of day,
No warmth-no cheerfulness-no healthful ease,
No road, no street, no t'other side the way,
No comfortable feel in any member-
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds, November!
~ Thomas Hood ~
I'm taking a short blogging break but have Sabbath Keeping posts scheduled.

Oh, poor Thomas Hood! I love November!
ReplyDeleteHave a good break from blogging, we all need it at times. Come back refreshed.
Enjoy your November, and your blogging break too!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break. I agree, poor Thomas Hood.
ReplyDeleteWhat a horrible bit of prose about my birthday month; ack!
ReplyDeleteNow that Thomas Hood is a downer :) LOVE the photo. Hug B

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break. Are those your clothes on the line? I love it!
ReplyDeleteHope the break is for good reasons. We'll miss ya! Yay for NOvember.
ReplyDeleteLuv ~:)
Enjoy your break, Sandra, and come back all rested and revitalized :)
ReplyDeleteA break? After Mags everyday all month invitation? Good for you. Enjoy sweet and simple endeavors.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do love November, Thomas Hood's words are apt. November weather is the only time of the year I can truly escape to indoor activities without feeling guilty of leaving outdoor obligations undone. I am looking forward to your return from your blog-break, but only if you return refreshed & blessed!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely break!
