ReplyDeleteI LOVE this photo, the woman with the blue skirt, her dogs going trusting with her, lonely but in communion with the sky, wonderful later summer-light - the house and the atmosphere...
ReplyDeleteGood experienced life-lessons. Point 4 is my point also :)

To nearly all those, I say: sad but true.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post -- and indeed, as MK said, most are sad but true!
ReplyDeleteAlways drink upstream. That's my favorite.

I love the photo ! So many truisms, well said and worth remembering. 2 involve gates. Fences and gates are very practical and do help maintain friendly relations with neighbors.
ReplyDeleteDear Sandra, hope all is well with you. Great tips to live by. I am sorry, been so busy this summer with Art shows. My computer has a problem, can't get the 4 th July post off sidebar, and new post on it? I'll think about it next week.
ReplyDeleteTake care and sending love and good wishes. yvonne

Clever sayings and sweet photo! I've often wished I had a passion for that one thing that would have made me successful, but alas, I've leaned towards being a "Jackie of all trades and master of none"! ;-) Do come visit me again! Hope life is treating you well. Bess
