God and dog.
As wonderful as vacation has been, it's lacking one huge thing...the lack of dogs. Our dogs, to be specific . Folks who live with their dogs as companions, know what we mean. Our dogs are family and even though we weren't able to bring them with us, God is here as He is everywhere. That's the peace that passeth understanding, knowing we're never alone.
Until next time,

I do understand what you are saying! My dogs are my family no matter what.
ReplyDeleteI always miss our dogs when we go on vacation and are unable to bring them along. I have finally decided any Pacific Ocean destination hotel that does not allow us to bring at least one dog does not need our money, as there are so many now that accommodate pet owners for a moderate ( $10.00 to $15.00 ) per night.
ReplyDeleteOne of the pleasures of walking along the beach front is having a dog happily trotting along side or retrieving sticks. ( of course I am talking about a well behaved dog)
ms. sandy, as you know, i haven't been down here in a while. I've been trying to help spread links to the relief operations in the philippines (and now indonesia and samoa). i thank you for your visit to my site. now i hesitate to but would like to ask for a favor. would you post a short article directing your readers to my latest post called 'please give me back my smile' because it has links to relief organizations to said countries. hoping to touch more hearts and souls. thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteMorning Sandra...Yep I know exactly what you mean...and thank you for the reminder that we are never alone.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
I am so glad you have a wonderful vacation :o), and I understand you miss your dogs...If I were you I'd miss them too...
ReplyDeleteThe nicest part of coming home Wednesday was doggy smiles!
ReplyDeletewe don't really travel so this isn't an issue with us - but I understand the feeling - our dogs are part of our daily life - usually the part that is laughing!
ReplyDeletePets just make our lives better. Period.
ReplyDeleteOf course I know what you mean - I loved the video too!
ReplyDeleteYou know I understand completely!
ReplyDeleteThis new house isn't HOME until the critter kids are all settled in and comfy.
