Some "Little Thoughty's" to bring you a chuckle, a thought, a nod of understanding...when author is known, credit is given, otherwise I simply don't know...
When someone you love becomes a memory
the memory becomes a treasure.
Prayer – the world's greatest wireless connection. (Amen!)
I'm the crazy aunt everyone warned you about. (Yep, that's me!)
I'll have a Cafe-Mocha Vodka-Valium Latte to go, please. (I know people like this, don't you?)
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
My sister is the sister everyone wishes they had. (True!)
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
If you met my family, you'd understand. (especially my sister -smile-)
I'm so busy I don't know whether I found my rope or lost my horse!
I'm not short; I'm FUN size.
Don't make me call the flying monkey's! (a nod to the Wicked Witch)
My sister has the best sister in the world. (HA!)
Ah, I see the screw-up fairy was here again. (actually, lives at Thistle Cove Farm!)

time to remember,
time to reach for the infinite,
time to be.”

Hello Sandra and Dave:
ReplyDeleteThese are both great fun and thought provoking, and of course we loved the image of the cheery sunflower.
Here the fields are filled with them, acre after acre, and it really is a wonderful sight. Within a few weeks they will start to turn brown when the whole mood and appearance of the landscape will alter.
Great fun.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Glenda
Well, if you knew my family, you wouldn't understand. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day, Sandra!
Well I am going to use, " I am not short I am fun size." That is a nice way to describe me. :) I thought some of them are fun and others make me think. It is funny you posted about sisters because I am just getting around on Wednesday because of the 3 hour phone conversation with my sister. :)
ReplyDeleteOh your sunflower is gorgeous! Ours are still only inches from the ground, so instead of saying they are short, I'll just refer to them as fun size!! Thanks for the chuckles. ~Lili
ReplyDeleteLove the one about the horse and the rope! I'm going to try and remember that one.
ReplyDeleteLovely sayings, as usual.
Love the photo and the sayings. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh Sandra~ these made my day!
ReplyDelete(I especially love the one about stupid people in large groups!)
I love this post!!! Thank you!
ReplyDelete"I'm the crazy aunt everyone warned you about. (Yep, that's me!)" Hahahaha :o))) We shall see :o)))♥
Love all of 'em!
ReplyDeleteThose monkeys from the Wiz of Oz scare the crap out of me...still!
Exquisite as always. And Helen sends her love.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chuckle! Great quotes, all of them. And that sunflower is glorious.
