New to me teapot

This is the aforementioned, new to me, teapot. Isn't it adorable? I enjoy a pot of tea, as well as a pot of coffee, but tea settles me more, makes me slow down and take stock in a way that coffee does not.

I mentioned it in the post where I had trouble entering photos, thought I'd catch up a bit.

Blessings ~ tea ~ new to me teapot ~ lovely cups ~ friends to share ~ thrift stores ~

  1. Your new teapot is elegant.
Like you, I prefer tea over coffee.
I only drink coffee if someone else wants some and then only one cup or my tummy doesn't feel so great. I love the coffee aroma, though.

    Enjoy you tea!

  3. Good Morning Lisa - I'm so glad you're feeling better and glad you're visiting. What is it, do you suppose, that makes coffee more stomach upsetting than tea? They both have acids...?

Good Morning Jamie - give James a hug and some pudding and hope he feels better quickly. Contact me thistlecovefarms at gmail dot com and you know what to do -smile-.
love and prayers because He loved us first...

  13. There is just something about brewing a pot of tea and sitting down with a special cup and saucer full of tea to sip , that causes me to take time to enjoy the moment..and reflect. What is it about tea that inspires this?

Hi Katie - I'm home and will be sending your tea cozy this week; will let you know when it's mailed so you can look for it. You'll have to sign for it, that's to make sure it gets there.

Hi Steve - Thanks for visiting and I'm headed to your blog now to exchange links.

Hi KathyB. - I'm not so sure it's the tea but the time; taking the moment to enjoy one of our many blessings. Taking the time to breath deeply, think on something or nothing but always, enjoying the moment.

Hi Tipper - that tea pot is SO cute; I've got another that's cute but in a different way. I'll have to photo it and post.

Hi Tin Can Cottage - Thanks for visiting; I'm looking forward to reading more about your vintage trailer. That's SO my dream...to have a vintage trailer and I've put the word out with tons of people so it's only a matter of time before I've got one.
About the DOT thing...it's your web address...it's not showing up as thetincancottage.blogspot.com but as a short series of dots and dashes...rather like Morse code. Very strange -smile-. Please visit again soon.
