Vince Flynn, 47, husband, father, son, best selling author and patriot died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. In 2010, Mr. Flynn was diagnosed with cancer yet continued to write his best selling Mitch Rapp novels. There are fourteen best sellers and, before publication, had to be reviewed by various national security agencies because they were so close to real life events.
He leaves his wife, Lysa, and their three children as well as other distraught family, friends, associates and readers.
Mr. Flynn, thank you so very much for your legacy and my sincere condolences to your family.

I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteSandra, I am SHOCKED! I followed this man and have read all his books, which I think are fabulous. So, we've lost James Gandolfini at age 51 and Vince Flynn, both so young. Yes, I am sad today. His legacy will live on for decades as there is a movie in the works, and I'm sure there will be more.
ReplyDeleteI was just listening to one of his books yesterday! Very sad.
ReplyDeleteI knew that he was sick with cancer. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was an incredible author and a true patriot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a tremendous loss for his family, friends, readers and literary world. My husband is a huge fan of his books and has read every one he wrote. Thank you for posting this tribute.
