Semper Fidelis = Always Faithful

~ USMC War Memorial ~
Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government's right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime.
You ma'am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.

I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.
We, the people, deserve better than you.

Respectfully Submitted,

Joshua Boston Cpl
United States Marine Corps
2004-2012

  1. I thank Josh for serving this country. I also want him to know
he is not a marine any more. The Guns are for war and I am sure we would give him a weapon of mass killing if we were to go to war.
once again God Bless You Josh, and Thanks.

  2. My husband retired out as a corporal in the Marines. I am very proud of our service men and women and our Veterans.

  3. And Josh would tell you, Yvonne, "once a Marine, always a Marine"; that's what Semper Fidelis means both to the Marine Corps and to their Country. ALWAYS FAITHFUL
My comment to you is...there's no way the government would give back what they've taken away...never have, never will. Josh was right... Ms Feinstein has forgotten, if she ever knew. she and other government employees, whether elected or hired, are SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE and not the other way 'round.

Annie, please tell your husband, "Thank you for serving!"

  4. My Rooster was, is, and always shall be a Marine. He is my hero and will be forever. God Bless the US Marine Corp!!! God Bless all service men and women.

I have a weapon to protect myself and my child. My Rooster works long hours and I spend lots of time alone. Who would protect me? The Government? The Police? I think not. Rather be tried by twelve than carried by six. No one is going to harm my child.

The school shootings is just another reason that I school at home.

  5. Well said, Cpl. Boston! Guns are the subject of our current hysteria ... it could be kitchen knives or spatulas next time. Our freedom is our right, and it is wrong to focus on the object when it was the PERSON who was to blame.

  6. well written as usual Sandra - I also will not be registering my personal belongings whether they are guns or bow and arrow sets or whatever. I have to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's - all the hysteria about not allowing government to intrude into a a so called right of women to murder their children in utero - yet as usual same government they trust to manage our healthcare, our food supply and oh yeah - fiscal policy wants to mess with people's weapons - ain't gonna happen here (yet another reason I'm grateful to live in rural Texas and not one of the so called liberal states. Semper Fi and don't fear my gun - fear your elected "representatives"
end of rant for now -

  7. Sandra, is the crime rate in residential areas in some places scary enough for folk to have guns at home? I speak as a naive foreigner- deal gently with me, America!

  8. Hi Amy, please tell your husband "Thank you for serving!" Tried by 12 than carried by 6...AMEN!

Hi Roses, you are so right...the PERSON is to blame! How many people are killed each year in vehicle "accidents" yet no one is screaming, "TAKE AWAY THE CARS!!"

Hi LindaSue, Nor will I. Like Amy said...tried by 12, not carried by 6!

Hi Mags - Our Constitutional Second Amendment says, "we, the people, have the right to bear arms." A large portion of the population, including me, believes the government will start at automatic weapons and not rest until they have ALL our guns. That's exactly what happened when Hitler took guns from the German population. The population then allowed him to become their 'messiah' and he was responsible for the deaths of more than 11 MILLION people.
Mags, it's not about the "crime rate", it's about my RIGHT to bear arms...that's all the reason I need. Generally, though, you only hear about nuts in high population areas who go off half cocked and kill people. In rural areas, people are taught to respect firearms and use them for killing food or target practice. If need be, also for protection but, essentially, that's a heavily populated area problem.

  9. Amen and well-stated! So sad to watch our constitutional rights ravaged right before us. Never thought it would happen in my lifetime. :(

  11. Gail, we're becoming a nation of, I started to say slaves but even slaves have "some" rights. We're becoming a nation of idiots; a "dumbed" down nation of idiots! It's depressing.

Sparky, like someone said, "I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6!"
