"The good Brother found God everywhere...It was God, not the task, he had in view. He knew that the more the task was against his natural inclinations, the greater was his love in offering it to God."

"Going to work for a large company is like getting on a train. Are you going sixty miles an hour or is the train going sixty miles an hour and you're just sitting still?" ~ J. Paul Getty ~

"Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don't turn up at all." ~ Sam Ewing ~

  5. So many wonderful quotes, and I agree with them all. So often work is a pleasure and a privilege, but I think attitude has a lot to do with what we do , as in all things. I love it when I go to MacDonald's' ( shh, don't tell anyone I actually do buy food there once in awhile)and the person who serves me is happy, cheerful, polite...they don't realize they will go far in life with that attitude , and that they made me happy just by smiling and acting like my teensy bit of business was important to them.
