Welcome...spring???

I'm so glad this spring snow storm didn't happen on 1 April.
It would have broken my heart.
 As it is,
it's only my spirit that's, somewhat, mangled.

Blessings - wood on the back porch ~ clean wood stove ~ fire in the wood stove ~ put my bed clothing on at 4:30 today ~ it's almost bed time ~ nighty-night ~

  10. sorry you are still in freezing zone - spring does lift our spirits! I see nothing wrong with jammies at 4:30 but that is probably a character flaw in me.

  11. Change your header to a spring shot! That will do the trick :-)

  12. It is still a beautiful scene! I also just jammies on early a lot after being outside all day and early shower or late for some folks!

  14. Bed clothes on at 4:30 - NOW that's a blessing! I have never been that early but have managed about 6:00 before in the dead of the winter.

  15. I hope the sun is shining there today to melt it away. It makes such a difference to my spirits which have been blah since leaving our little granddaughter last weekend. Now I am reenergized. I like rainy days and snow but need this sunshine we're having now.

  16. Here in the Bavarian Forest it's cold and snowy, too. Some say, it will be a cold summer. Nordic feelings :) !!

  17. So many, many folks have had enough snow, and then you have us, who would love to have a foot of wet snow dumped on our dry ground. Why can't everyone get "just enough?"

Spring's on the way! Wait for it.

Yesterday in GA was so cold/windy/rainy - I put on my pj's in the afternoon and was lazy all evening. Today, we have clear skies and everything seems to have greened up overnight!

  19. Yuuuuck! Better think warm thoughts. Sure you don't want to move down here to SE Georgia? We may have gnats, mosquitos, lovebugs and all manner of flying pests but at least the sun is shining and the grass is green. ~:)

  20. I know you have had enough of WINTER and are ready for SPRING! They say it's coming...won't be too soon for us all, although you have had some really beautiful snow landscapes to share with us.

  22. Annie, spring is still teasing but it's getting a trifle warmer daily.

Vicki, I'd rather have snow than hail. ugh is right.

Karen, it's getting warmer and I'll take it!

Pollyanna....I mean Quinn, I don't have skeeters just black flies. But I have those by the gazillions; this is, after all, cow country.

Little Messy Missy, the outside is warming up so it's easier to stay warm...nice!

V, we need rain and it's a tad warmer so days are easier to bear.

Lea, spring is almost here! hurrah!

Gretchen, winter seems like it's been so long this year. someone said, "it's because it started in October." ouch.

Timi, spring is slow but steady, I hope -grin-.

Teresa, hope it's warmed up there; it has here, a trifle.

LindaSue, I need more 4:30 jammie days; oh yes I do!

Karen, we've still got Blackberry Winter the second weekend in May but it's warmer right now.

Cyndi, after a shower, why not put on night clothes? there's no one here to mind -smile-.

Debbie, winter started in October; maybe that's why it seems like it's stayed so long -smile-.

The Family, nothing wrong with being clean and in my nightgown early -smile-.

Dewena, it's a trifle warmer so my spirits are a trifle better. life is so hard for so many.

Dori, I hope it's warmer for you and not as snowy. it's gotten warmer here and the snow has melted.

Karen, I hope you've gotten some snow or rain for your thirsty earth.

Mildred, know you're moving and hope it's safe and easy.

Sparky, I like having 4 seasons just not WINTER, spring, summer and autumn. Not WINTER! -smile-

Sue, yep, ready for spring and warmer weather. I've been reading about your quilting bee; very impressive.

Kathy, your kind words were a balm in Gilead; bless you.
